Samuel's first basketball game!

Well, Samuel had his first official basketball game yesterday! No score was taken so no one won or lost and it was a pretty fun mess of confusion. It looked like the majority of the kids had fun but they all could use some practice on listening for the whistle and staying in bounds. I think Samuel did have fun, he would cheer when anyone would make a basket but he did get upset when he got trampled on when he got the ball ONE time. Thunder Youth Basketball

Samuel has started basketball with OKC Parks and Rec which the Thunder are now sponsoring. They had a big kick off/clinic last weekend, Samuel had a lot of fun! There were a LOT of people there, the city is very excited to have the Thunder here and it is fun to see. Samuel got a picture on the Thunder website, you have to go under "Community" then to "Thunder, OKC team up for kids" then scroll through the photos until he come to Samuel's very concentrated face:
