Off to MO!

Marc is off to Toronto for a conference and the kids and I are headed to Missouri where Marc will join us later this week. We are looking forward to some time away from home and the constant reminder of stuff to do beyond every day responsibilities. Samuel and Merideth are so excited to go to "Papa's Farm", it was hard for them both to get to sleep tonight. We hope you all are well and hope to keep updating the blog as we are away from Seattle. Showing you his "baseball" gloves.
One way to keep from taking all his toys to show Denny and Kristofer, taking a picture to show them.

Ready for rest!

We had a pretty long week of fun and working on the house. We are looking forward to tomorrow when Marc has his meeting and gets his relocation packgage which will determine when we leave and what we need to do before leaving.

Samuel and Merideth really love to get each other excited. Samuel brought home a balloon and goody bag from VBS last week and couldn't wait to show Merideth. When Merideth saw all the stuff Samuel kept saying, "I made it for you Merideth, aren't you excited!?"

Samuel is pushing Merideth and I on the merry-go-round, all heart!

OKC by September 1st

The newest news is that Marc needs to be in Oklahoma City by September 1st at the latest. So we hope to be down there...somewhere...by mid-end of August. I must admit that we have yet to pack one box in hopes that our relocation package will include packers and shippers. We have been working on getting the house ready with little repairs here and there and are also organizing and sifting through some stuff. Mostly we have been enjoying our last FULL Seattle summer, we love it and will miss it terribly. "My turn" on Samuel's skateboard.

Waiting for the Mercer Island parade.Enjoying some "Cory" time.We will miss the wadding pool picnics!Wonda and Kailas teaching Samuel Go Fish.

Fun in the sun, enjoying Seattle's beautiful summer!

As we wait for our relocation package we are trying to enjoy one last Seattle summer while living here. (We know we will be back for visits!) We are slowly getting the house ready and thinking through all that needs to be done before packing up and heading east. Anyone in the market for a cozy home in Seattle?!

Dance moves at Seward Park. If you look closely you can see Mt. Rainier (or Mt. Reindeer, as Samuel likes to call it) to Samuel's right.

We said goodbye to Grandpa and Grandma Taylor today after having a great time catching up and enjoying the summer together. OKC Bound!

Well the news came last Wednesday that the city of Seattle and the Sonics ownership settled out of court and the ownership will be moving the team to Oklahoma City. It has been quite emotional for us as we are super excited for our new home and whatever God has in store for us there but on the other hand we don't want to leave Seattle and our amazing friendships here. We absolutely love Seattle and think it is a wonderful place to raise kids and we have been so blessed by EVERYTHING here. We will miss Seattle and all those we call our family and community. We will keep you updated on where we are and how we are!
