We hope you all had a wonderful Merry Christmas!! We traveled to NM to spend Christmas with Grandma Paula, Roger, Danica and Robert. It was a great trip and a we had a very blessed time there with people we love. The entire Taylor family got sick but we powered through and made the best of our decreased energy. Thank you Storms for a wonderful Christmas!!

Tap Recital...oh my!

Merideth had a little tap dance recital today and it was adorable! (Yes we are bragging.) She was on top of the world and loved the attention. We were amazed that she actually knew the moves! Not the best timing but the moves were impressive. It was super fun and a great way to see Merideth shine! The video below is about 5 minutes so get your popcorn and enjoy!

"12 Days until Christmas!"

We are counting down the days until Christmas with our advent calendar and a countdown chain. Samuel announces every morning how many days until Christmas is here!

Samuel came out of his quiet time with this picture in hand of the "manger" scene...

We put together a gingerbread house to start off our day yesterday. Sugar highs kept us from napping!

Then off to skate with Rumble and our good friends, the Patinos.

Lauren looks the least bit amused with Merideth's constant need to talk or sing.

Samuel was much happier sitting and drinking his hot chocolate. He got a bit frustrated once he figured out he could not skate all by himself.

Merideth could have skated all day, daddy and his back were done.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Christmas is getting so close and we are really trying to enjoy the season, we hope you are too!

Our church had an event called the Real Christmas story where they acted out the real Christmas story and then had cookies and crafts for the kids.

Merideth could have made ornaments all night.

The kids ran in a 50 yard dash and then we all ran a 1 mile loop around downtown together. It was a lot of fun and kept us warm!

Merideth and Samuel at the start line of the dash.

There they go! Samuel stayed up front the whole way and you can see Merideth back there trying as hard as her little legs can go!

Now onto the 1 mile...they both took great naps this afternoon!

Thanksgiving and Family Fun!

We hope you all had a great Thanksgiving! We had a wonderful time here in OK with Grandma Paula, Roger, Danica, Robert and Little Denny. It is starting to get super cold here but no signs of snow just yet! There is a snow tubing hill at the baseball park in downtown that we went to with Rumble.

Such a big boy carrying his huge tube!

Rumble and Samuel heading down the hill together.

Merideth and Samuel had so much fun with Denny; wrestling, dancing, laughing, being super silly, etc. Thanks for coming this way for your break Denny!

We celebrated a late birthday for Robert and Danica and an early birthday for Denny.

Bundling up!

We decorated the house the day after Thanksgiving. I am certain is has never gotten done in one day before! Thanks for helping the Taylors out! Merideth loved it!

Yay, Denny got to see Rumble in person at a Thunder game!

One of their best uncles!!!

Thanksgiving Fun

Lots of fun fall/Thanksgiving celebrating going on around here: Samuel's class had a Thanksgiving feast that Merideth and Erin got to join in. His class was the pilgrims and the other 4-5 year old class were the Indians.

Samuel and Ms. Jill, his teacher.

Samuel and Ms. Debbie, his other teacher.

Our little man off to his Fall Concert.

Samuel with two of his favorite girls, Olivia and Blayne.

We wondered if Samuel will always be in the back row among the tallest?... It was a great little concert and Samuel had a ton of fun singing and signing away.

Girls Night Out

Merideth and Erin had a girls night out while Marc and Samuel went to an OU football game. The girls ended up at the mall to check out the holiday decorations and landed in the Build-a-Bear store. Merideth had a ton of fun choosing her dog, blessing the heart to go inside, stuffing it, washing it, and best of all picking out it's outfit. It was a great time!

"Princess, ballerina, Carly! I love her so much mom!"

Then off to Red Robin for dinner. Carly joined us of course!
