We have been doing some videoing of Samuel on his guitar for his guitar teacher and today he wanted to play one of his songs for "the blog". He learned the beginning of Smoke on the Water last week:

Another snow storm last week, Thursday of this week will be 77!
Well, we had more snow and another 3 days off of school and now this week they are expecting spring time weather...
We continued to have fun and look forward to some time outside without quadruple layers on!
Our snowman, kind of short and dumpy but the snow was not ideal for making balls!
We made and enjoyed doughnuts one morning!
Back to the snow!
We did get to celebrate Merideth's half birthday at school after a late start on Thursday. She had fun and felt super special. Here, her teacher, Ms. Donna, is telling us what a sweet girl she is in class.

OK Blizzard 2011!
Yes, OK has had a pretty snowy last couple of days. It started on Monday night and didn't stop until Tuesday afternoon. 9 or so inches on the ground and some pretty big snow drifts at the Taylor house. School has been canceled for three days in a row now but we of course have been enjoying each other and a little time in the freezing cold!
Tuesday morning snowmen pancakes!
Lots of baking and cooking while inside. This is the start of marshmallows for our hot chocolate!
Cheese fondue lunch on the living room floor.
First time outside! Samuel and Merideth lasted much longer than we expected, they were probably just happy to be beyond the walls of our house!
Our snow angel son!
Our snow angel daughter!
Merideth started growing icicles on her eyelashes and eyebrows. This was even after Erin had to tell her to come in.
Warming up those pink cheeks with some hot apple cider.
D'Lish!
Marshmallow cutting out time!
Second day out, Marc shoveled for a good hour in order to get the car out!
The snow fort made it through the night!
Loving our time at home with each other!
