Have we ever mentioned what an artist Merideth is?!

Merideth loves to paint, draw, color, craft, etc! We went to a little festival of sorts this weekend where she got her own canvas and was able to create whatever she wanted then add to a large canvas that an artist had painted on. She loved it, it was exactly what she enjoys!

The canvas paintings will go up for auction to benefit Blindness OK next month...do dad and mom need to go to buy her piece?!

A couple of great days at school!

Samuel has had a great week at school for his first full week:

He got an achievement award, which was for good behavior, where he got called up in front of half of the school during an assembly to receive a free chicken nugget meal!

From his PE teachers he got a certificate stating that he did a great job!

We are super proud of his first week of First Grade!!

Another Lost Tooth!!

Samuel lost his second tooth, pulled it himself! He lets them get super loose then just has to tug a little and "pop" they come out!! Before going to bed this time with his tooth under his pillow Samuel said, "Mom, God didn't write about the tooth fairy in the bible."...What is a mom supposed to say?!

Merideth's First Day of Preschool!

Merideth had her first day of preschool this week and loved it! She has to wonderful loving teachers and great friends. She goes three days a week which is a big treat for this social girl!!

First Grade!!!!!

Samuel started First Grade last Friday!!!! Yep, big time schooler now! He was super excited and so are we. We are hoping and praying for a great year. He came home after his first day with double thumbs up (the best rating you can get), it was a great day!!!

He is so happy to have his own desk!!

Super exciting tooth news!!

Crazy!!! While we were in FL Erin was helping Samuel brush his teeth only to find his TWO bottom permanent teeth poking through!! We got super excited and called them his shark teeth...


One of the baby teeth in front of the second row got so loose that he could push it down perpendicalur to the other teeth, then on Sunday he pulled it!!! Samuel's first lost tooth!!! It was very exciting and he got a whole $2 in gold coins from the tooth fairy!

How easy is it to take a picture of 4 kids?!

How hard can it really be to get a decent picture of a 6 year old, 5 year old and two 1 year olds?!!!!! Check below to see...if you look at all of them you should be able to see a good one of each of the kids, just not all in the same picture!

Our Cousins are 1 year olds!!!!

The Whitlock boys are 1!!!!! We got to help celebrate Dylan and Tanner in Dallas for their 1 year birthday party. It was a great day of swimming and playing. The boys are so much fun and are a big blessing in our life!

Happy Birthday Merideth!!!!

We are a bit behind on blogging but we couldn't let another day go by without shouting out to our baby girl...wait she is now 5!!!!!! Merideth turned 5 yesterday! We celebrated last Saturday with a swimming party at our neighbors home. It was super fun and Merideth felt very celebrated.

Merideth is truly a blessing to our family as she takes care of all of us and shows us every day that she loves us!

While getting ready for the party we had to jump in the pool every so often to cool off!
