Baseball Season

Samuel has been playing machine pitch baseball for the past couple of months and really enjoys defense but is not all that excited about baseball's offense...he has a really good practice swing and can bang the bat hard on the ground but freezes up when the ball is pitched. Any good advice out there for getting a kid to swing at the ball?!
