Christmas with the Whitlocks

We got to celebrate Christmas with the Whitlocks early before they head to MO for Christmas. We had a short but certainly sweet visit! Thank you Whitlocks!

Dylan scoping out all the presents.

The hat was really made for Dylan but Robert thought it looked best on him, lets take a vote!

Spaceman Samuel

Grandma Paula and God's gift to us all, Tanner!

Yes, that is Samuel's jump shot and no he is not wearing a shirt! It got up to at least 70 degrees while we were in TX, that is NOT Christmas weather!

Merideth's favorite part about the park, swings!

Tanner is almost big enough not to slip through the leg holes!

Dylan loved his first ride on the swings, giggle giggle!!

On our way home we got to stop and see Nanny in Sherman, TX!

Happy Birthday Uncle Denny!

Wow, how time flies!!!! Uncle Denny is 20 today!! Happy Birthday to you, we hope you have a wonderful day and always remember how wonderful you are. You truly shine the light of Jesus to all! We can't wait to see you in less than a week!

Continuing Christmas Fun!

First sips of Egg Nogg this year! Samuel is not as into it as previous years!

Merideth could drink it for breakfast, lunch, AND dinner!

Merideth and Erin got to get dressed up and have a night out and enjoy the Nutcracker!

Merideth truly enjoyed it!

Decorating gingerbread boys and girls! The starting product.

Samuel's finished product: a basket ball gingerbread boy with his current jersey number, #41

Merideth's finished product: a gingerbread girl in a dress with a ring and curly hair.

In Bricktown with Santa. We were hoping for a nice walk to see the Christmas lights and decorations but ended up with most of our time inside eating dinner due to the frigid weather!! When we were driving home Merideth said, "Well, I guess we really didn't get to walk around!" Still good times together though!!

Our Sweet Girl

Just a little Merideth funny along with a funny Merideth picture of her sleeping with her precious blanket: As we have been making cookies for friends we have talked about spreading Christmas Cheer. One day Merideth said, "Mom, I know, I can put one of my cheerleader outfits on when we go spread Christmas Cheer!"

Happy Advent!

We have been striving to enjoy this Christmas season as we prepare our hearts for the celebration of Jesus's birth. We are so grateful for all we have and hope you are feeling God's presence also!

Baking cookies and ornaments.

Santa Run downtown OKC.

It was a cold and windy morning, but the kids stuck it out for the one block dash!

Our furry friend was there too!

Making their own germs at a children's health fair they had at the run.

Gobbling up some cupcakes after watching "Rough Night at the North Pole" at the OKC Children's Theater with good friends Lucas and Blake.

Spreading Christmas cheer with silly hats, yummy cookies, and...spy glasses.
