Come Thursday, these kids are beat!

Thursdays are pretty much the end of the week for us. Both kids are tired and grouchy here is how we typically make it home after school:

Work and Glasses

"Mom, we will be in my room at work, my work," Samuel says as I hear him helping Merideth get her desk to his room. Samuel will sit in his room for a good amount of time drawing, writing, cutting, etc. He loves his office space.
Both Samuel and Erin got new glasses and we realized how similar they are!

Daddy's toys

Trying one of daddy's new toys, an electric skateboard. Yes, they get funny looks from the neighbors, but they have lots of fun!

Happy Birthday Kailas!

Happy Birthday to Kailas! We hope you have a wonderful day and feel super special. We love you and miss you a ton!

Samuel and Merideth were unable to coordinate the real Happy Birthday song but here is their version especially made for you...

She loves pink

Well, no matter hard we try Merideth just loves the color pink. She and I were coloring one day and out of 96 crayons the ones below are what she chose to color with. She sat there and picked them all out before starting to color. Numerous times while we were coloring she asked, "Mama, can I get you a pink crayon?"

Thankfully she looks pretty good in pink!

Halloween Fun

We had a full week of dressing up and obtaining way too much candy!!

The first night we went with friends to the Storybook Forest. A fun time running through the forest getting candy from some storybook friends, playing silly games and going for a short hayride. Samuel - tiger, Merideth - kitty cat

At the Storybook Forest with friends Olivia and Lucas. Merideth got too hot on the drive there so she is simply Merideth in this picture.

One of the storybook friends, Humpty Dumpty.

The kids put together their potato head pumpkins, which is so much cleaner than the real thing of carving pumpkins! Merideth and her sweet princess pumpkin...

"Arrr", Samuel and his pirate pumpkin.

Night #2, off to our church's fall festival. Here Samuel and Merideth have just gone to the neighbors to show off their costumes. Samuel - Race car driver, Merideth - Tigger
*Not shown in pictures, night #3, trick or treating at the Thunder office. Samuel - race car driver, Merideth - Tinker Bell

Some serious pumpkin carving...he needed his head lamp to see what he was doing.

Night #4, it is actually Halloween!! Samuel - race car driver, Merideth - fairy, ballerina, princess, Abby Cadabby

Free as a fairy!

So ready to go traipsing around the neighborhood!

Race car driver, fairy etc, and a Jamaican grave digger (Lucas) ready for some more candy.

Samuel and Merideth were most excited to answer the door and hand out treats and it went long into bed time (notice the pjs). On our way home from church today Samuel asked, "Mom, can we go trick or treating tonight?".....

Done with T-ball...

Done with T-ball and both of the kids are now in gymnastics. Samuel's is straight gymnastics but Merideth's is half gymnastics and half tap dance. So she gets to wear "slippery" shoes with her hands on her hips for half the time she is there. They both love to go!
