Okay, so I haven't been brave enough to sign up for the opt-out of junk mail stuff due to their need for my social security number or credit card number, but I did find this website which helps with getting rid of all the pesky magazines/catalogs that we get and never read: catalogchoice.org
It was easy to register and easy to choose what catalogues we no longer want. Just trying to rid our lives of stuff we certainly don't need and stuff we certainly don't want to leave around for our kids to take care of! (I will now step off my soap box)
