Merideth's First Day of Preschool

Merideth started preschool this week without any issues. Samuel does it, so why should she have a problem with it!? It added a little over an hour to her day that she had in a program called Mother's Day Out so we thought there would be a little bit of a transition but she was so excited to go and had many "stories" to tell when she got home. We feel very blessed to have her and Samuel in the school they are in, the light of Jesus is very bright there.

Some special tid bits and quotes about and from Merideth:

-When asked what her favorite thing about school was, "To see Samuel."

-Merideth loves to have tea parties after setting them up all by herself, she is a great hostess

-Merideth loves to give hugs and they are really good when you are having a bad day

-In response to Erin not being so patient with her, "Mommy, I hope you get good sleep tonight."

-Merideth really wants a real pet of her own and asks us VERY often if she can have one. We have yet to come up with a great response, which is probably why she keeps asking.

-She often talks about having another baby in our family, which would of course be a girl and we would name her Carly. Carly is the name she gives to all her dolls and stuffed animals.

-Merideth enjoys sweets and asks for dessert every time she might think of it

-Merideth likes to be home, she enjoys being out and about as well, but if she is home and we ask her what she would like to do, it is usually stay home and play with her toys.

-Making up her own songs is very entertaining to Merideth and please don't interrupt...
