Grandma, Danica and The Boys Visit!

Grandma Paula, Danica, Dylan, and Tanner came up to OKC for Samuel's birthday, thank you guys!!! Dylan and Tanner are now 3 months old and are starting to respond to faces and sounds, it is super fun. It goes by so fast!

Merideth and Dylan and smiles!

Um...CUTE!!!

We tried finding a cute little pumpkin patch to get some good pictures...this road side veggie stand had to do!

Smiles all around!!

Dylan is definitely an out doors man. He fell fast asleep while we were at a park. Love those legs!!

On their last day we spent some time at another farm getting some fall pics. Grandma and here 4 grand kids!

Samuel's Birthday Fun!

Samuel had lots of fun for his birthday! We had a magic show party a few days before his actual birthday with about 20 friends at our house. It was a fun party and Samuel talked about it on into the next day. He chose Chuck E Cheese for his birthday dinner and had a lot of fun there also. We still are in awe that we have a 6 year old!!!

He was celebrated at school with a crown, his friends and teacher singing to him, and the opportunity to pick a treat from his teacher's birthday treat box!

Marc organized games before the magic show started...lots of work to manage 20 kids!

The kids waiting outside the garage for the magic show!

Samuel got to help a bit with the show.

Today Samuel is 6!

Today we get to celebrate the birth of our favorite boy! Oh, how time flies and how many wonderful and blessed memories we have of the last 6 years! Samuel is truly a blessing in our family, our home would be incomplete without him.

Samuel's Blessings:
His love for fun
His love for big hugs and snuggling
His love for running, biking, scootering, jumping, basketball, baseball, soccer
His love for learning; to read, to spell, about God, about our world, about our bodies
His love for music

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SAMUEL LAWRENCE!

Her First Design!

Well, Merideth gives us glimpses of a potential career in fashion and here is her first line of jewelry inspired by the Armor of God. She was very proud and later decorated it all with "jewels" that were really left over paper that Samuel had cut.

Guitar Playing Around Town

On Saturday mornings we like to go to the market here in Edmond and as we were getting ready Samuel said, "Mom, I am going to take my guitar to play for people at the market."

And he did!!!

Danica and Boys Visit!

Danica braved the 3 hour drive from Dallas to OKC to visit us! We had a great time and feel so blessed to be able to see them as they grow so fast! Thank you Danica for coming!

Tanner cuddling with his monkey.

Dylan having fun watching our crazy household!

Merideth helped get things ready including her rocking chair to help rock the babies.

Merideth and Tanner hangin' out.

They got to go to one of Samuel's baseball games on a wonderful evening.

Baseball Season

Samuel has been playing machine pitch baseball for the past couple of months and really enjoys defense but is not all that excited about baseball's offense...he has a really good practice swing and can bang the bat hard on the ground but freezes up when the ball is pitched. Any good advice out there for getting a kid to swing at the ball?!
