*After putting Merideth to bed I found Samuel going through his shopping bag of shirts that he has been toting around the house for a good week or so looking very sad. I said, "Hey bud, what's up?" He said, "I am sad that you put Merideth to bed, I want to play with my sister to make sure she knows I love her."

*While trying to encourage Samuel to use the "white" potty as opposed to the small "red" potty he says, "mom when my bottom is big like yours (hands to the sides of my hips) I will use the white potty."

Oh dear - what do you say to that?!?!? At least he is making spatial associations, and understands the concept of size relativity? :)
